Advantages Comparison of Inner Hole Cladding

At present, the traditional repair processes for the inner wall of hydraulic cylinder include arc fusion welding and CMT cold fusion welding. The main materials used include copper alloy and a small amount of stainless steel. The surfacing process is characterized by thick cladding layer, simple process and convenient operation. The surfacing process can produce a coating with high quality and close connection with the substrate. Traditional processes such as tungsten inert gas welding or plasma surfacing can produce coatings with a thickness of 2-3 mm, but the thickness of such coatings is too large and waste too much raw materials. Arc surfacing cladding has the disadvantages of large heat affected zone, large penetration, high dilution rate, large heat input, easy to cause changes in the structure, large deformation, large machining allowance, etc. Laser material cladding can produce thinner coatings with a thickness of 0.5-1 mm. Compared with the traditional process, it can significantly reduce the heat input and a single layer of coating can meet the protection requirements for parts. The longest cladding depth of the customized laser cladding head for the inner hole can reach 2m, adapting to the minimum inner diameterΦ40mm, which can solve the technical problems of laser processing on the inner wall of many slender and long diameter parts and laser processing on the restricted position of complex components.
